Achraf Ben Ahmed, Ph.D.

Researcher · Engineer · Educator

Computer Engineer and Researcher with a Ph.D. and 10 years of experience turning advanced R&D into production-grade systems. My work spans biosignal processing, physiological time-series modeling, real-time video analysis, and end-to-end signal pipelines on wearable and contactless platforms. I spent the last eight years as Lead Applied Scientist in the remote biosensing unit for neuromarketing applications at Centan Inc. Japan.

My current work runs along two axes: signal processing and physiological data extraction across sensing modalities, remote and wearable alike, turning raw sensor streams into clinically useful biometrics from algorithm design through to functional prototypes. In parallel, I build agentic AI frameworks that make advanced LLM workflows accessible to non-NLP experts and non-coders through CoGenAI, a platform that lets the research community build and deploy specialized SLMs/RAG tailored to their research needs, via an intuitive UI and pre-made API calls. Beyond research and engineering, I am deeply passionate about sharing expertise through classroom teaching, hands-on mentoring, and structured training and coaching programs in both academic and industry settings.
